Move will provide educational video content to millions of coaches, athletes
The Lincoln-based sports tech company InjuReplay announced today its partnership with Hudl to offer a series of videos through Hudl’s recently launched Performance Center.
“Hudl is excited to take a step with InjuReplay to continue pushing great video content to our users. Not only does InjuReplay do a great job of turning technical sports injury details into bite-sized, highly informative video pieces, they are a great team to work with and located right next door. Another great example of the awesome business opportunity and growth right here in Lincoln,” said Brett Shamblin, a business development representative from Hudl.
The Performance Center expands on Hudl’s mission to help teams and athletes win by providing its user base, millions of coaches and athletes in multiple sports across the globe, a one-stop shop for video content that will motivate, educate and drive performance. InjuReplay’s videos will contain timely information about sports related injuries and recovery prognosis.
The announcement comes at a time when the demand for technology is growing and many investors are recognizing the opportunities here in Nebraska for tech startups.
InjuReplay was started in 2012 in Lincoln and founded by Dr. Rob Rhodes, a family physician who has practiced locally since 1997. The company was designed to educate athletes and fans about the impacts that injuries have on athletic performance. The InjuReplay Interactive Athlete App serves as a tool for users to better understand definitions, diagnosis, treatments and recovery. Users vary widely ranging from sports enthusiasts to parents or coaches who want to know more about treatments for injuries.
“To partner with Hudl is a huge opportunity for InjuReplay. Their leadership in sports technology is well-documented as is their start up to success story. We are excited to help launch their performance center and provide quality content,” Rhodes said.
